A Whitney Houston hologram will dance with everybody on world tour



The late Whitney Houston will make a posthumous comeback as a hologram in 2016.

Holographic Houston will embark on a world tour next year, starting with a live-streamed concert that will be recorded at a yet-to-be-announced U.S. venue

The hologram tour is a partnership between Hologram USA and Houston’s sister Pat Houston, who is the president of the legend’s estate. (No word yet on whether they plan to change the chorus of “I’m Every Woman” to “anything you want done, baby, I do it holographically.”)

Similar to how Tupac Shakur “performed” as a hologram alongside Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre at Coachella in 2012, Houston’s hologram will interact with live elements during the touring concerts, Hologram USA’s CEO Alki David told Billboard. Read more…

Oprah and other celebrities react to death of Bobbi Kristina Brown



As news of the passing of Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, began to spread, celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and others in the music business took to Twitter to express their sadness and condolences for Brown and her family.

Some of the commentary ranged for expressions of regret that the young child of such famous parents died so young, while others seemed more upset by what appeared to many as an avoidable series of events.

Bobbi Kristina Brown moved to hospice care as condition deteriorates



Five months after she was discovered unresponsive in her bathtub, Bobbi Kristina Brown has been moved to hospice care.

The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found face-down in a tub in her Atlanta home on Jan. 31, almost three years after her mother’s body was found in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Shortly afterward, Brown was placed in a medically induced coma and was moved to an Atlanta rehabilitation center in March

Now, though, Brown is being moved once more — and the prognosis doesn’t look good

“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” Brown’s aunt, Pat Houston, said in a statement on behalf of the Houston family on Wednesday. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. Bobbi Kristina Brown is “fighting for her life” two days after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub, according to a statement from her family.

Brown, the 21-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was rushed to the hospital early on Saturday after her husband and a friend found her unconscious in a bathtub in her Georgia home and began administering CPR.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive Saturday morning and rushed to a hospital, the Roswell Police Department stated on Facebook

Brown’s husband Nick Gordon and a friend found her in a bathtub in her Georgia home and administered CPR to revive her until police arrived at 10:25 a.m. She was taken to North Fulton Hospital, the AP reports

Whitney Houston’s Legacy Gets a Tune-Up With New Album



Whitney Houston‘s incomparable voice will make a comeback in a new album of live performances from throughout her illustrious career.

Music mogul Clive Davis announced the live album Tuesday, describing the “I Will Always Love You” singer, who died in February 2012, as “the greatest vocalist in the world.”

“It was a marvel that she was as powerful and incredible that she was, but bittersweet that she died too young,” Davis said on Today during an interview with host Hoda Kotb.
